Engineering Analytics, Inc. (EA) has a highly experienced water resources engineering staff that has worked on more than 80 dams and has aided in the permitting of over 30. EA has prepared designs, feasibility studies, alternatives analysis, construction bid documents, construction cost estimates, as well as aided in contractor selection for the construction of new dams and the rehabilitation of aging facilities. Several of EA’s senior staff have over 40 years’ experience designing and constructing dams in the United States.
In addition to dam design, rehabilitation, and inspection, EA has significant experience in water storage planning and delivery, flood mapping, river restoration, dam failure investigations, and water treatment. EA has provided consulting services to a variety of industries including municipalities, industrial companies, mining companies, and state and federal agencies.
EA’s staff has experience designing, rehabilitating, and inspecting small to large embankment dams. We can provide rehabilitation design services, emergency action plan preparation, dam safety inspection services, hazard assessment, and seepage control systems. EA’s engineers have design and rehabilitation experience with outlet works, slip lining, spillway replacement, outlet works replacement and repair of breached dams.
EA has many decades of experience providing water storage solutions, water planning, and water delivery for industrial, commercial, municipal, and private entities. EA offers expertise in surface and groundwater modeling, feasibility studies, river restoration, irrigation ditch design, hydraulic structures and water conveyance, and pipelines and pump stations.
Up to date and accurate flood inundation mapping is essential to public health and safety. EA develops maps, based on hydraulic modeling, that estimate where flooding will occur if a dam fails or if a river basin experiences a large storm event.
EA’s expertise in water treatment includes treatment system technology, process, electrical, instrumentation and controls, and structural design, project permitting, procurement and bidding, construction administration and management, plant startup and operation/optimization, and training for various treatment technologies.
